Notepad vs. DreamWeaver!

Which program do you perfer?
I love hard coding in notepad, because I enjoy writing my code without all the "mess" and "functions" that DW provides.
BUT; DW is handy when I have done something wrong and getting PHP errors, such as a missing brackets, divs, etc.

Wow, that really is hardcore. I've made things a lot more easier for myself by using Coffeecup. Dreamweaver isn't my first toy either.

I made my first website at the age of 10. Using FrontPage back then, no good memories from that program .. Maybe except the feeling I had when I managed to make a hyperlink !
No, I don't like WYSIWYG-editors. I want the code to look exactly like I want, not generated by for example FrontPage.

I'm not a fan of DreamWeaver... I do most of my programming in C++ and use Dev C++. If I'm writing HTML, javascript or CSS, all I need is notepad.

I haven't been coding C++ in 2 years I think. My dad is a C++/Java developer, so I can learn much from him.
I'm currently learning a bit Cobol from my mom, as I want to work as a IT-developer in a bank when I (some day) get a job :).

Notepad is the really the only way to learn how to design a website.
It is best to use notepad to make your websites, I actually find it easier, dreamweaver has too much clutter IMO.

Dreamweaver ofcourse... it is the best webdesigning software in the net.. it has a WYSIWYG platform where it can be used if you want to make all things fast and easier.. :)
